Recuerdo, cuando era una niña, a mi abuela en el patio por las mañanas, dirigiéndose al gran jazmín que trepaba por las paredes, con gran delicadeza y adoración escogía los capullos, que dispondría cuidadosamente en un imperdible. Estos, aún dormidos, se despertarían por la tarde, regalándonos la magia de su movimiento, ternura y olor. Este ramillete de flores que se colocaba en el vestido pasaría a ser para mí, el broche más bonito jamás visto.

Y GESSAMÍ se quedó en plasmar el ciclo de la eclosión, nacimiento, inicios, primera experiencia, uno…

I remember, when I was a little girl, my grandmother in the patio at morning,  going to the great jasmine  that climbed the walls,  with great delicacy  and adoration choosing the cocoons,  which I would carefully  arrange in a safety pin. These, still asleep,  would wake up in the afternoon, giving us the magic  of their movement, tenderness  and smell. This bouquet of flowers that was placed on the dress would become for me, the most beautiful brooch ever seen.
